PADI Scuba Diving Courses are offered at Lalati Resort.
If you are new to diving, PADI's Discover Scuba is the place to start. This course is an introduction to the wonders of Fiji's scuba diving. You'll learn the basics and then your PADI Instructor will accompany you on every dive.
Dive students spend an hour in the classroom being taught the basic concepts of scuba diving safe practices through a lecture and video presentation from their dive instructor.
After learning the book-basics, you'll dive in a pool or pool-like conditions learning the essential diving skills. Once you and your instructor are comfortable with your newly learned skills, you can go on dives, to a limited depth, with your instructor present.
Discover Scuba is a great way to experience diving before committing to the time and cost of a full diving course. Rental dive equipment is included free in the cost of a PADI Discover Scuba Course at Lalati Resort, Fiji Islands.
PADI Open Water Diver courses will take you from just a swimmer and snorkeler to a fully certified diver, able to dive anywhere in the world and Fiji is just the place to do it!
Diving these calm protected waters is like exploring another world. The water is clear and warm, visibility is excellent, currents are generally mild. When diving in Beqa Lagoon you can expect a water temperature of around 79°F/26°C most of the year.
The Open Water Diver certification requires two parts. First, learning the fundamental principles of diving to keep you safe.. along with 5 pool dives to learn and practice the skills you'll need underwater. And second, diving under the guidance of your PADI Instructor 4 dives in open water to refine those skills.
Once your instructor qualifies you, you will receive your certification card (C-Card) that is accepted by nearly every dive shop worldwide.
Since the book work is time consuming, you can choose to watch the videos and do your home work before your dive holiday, then complete your in-water training in Fiji. Please ask us how.
